Celsia s.d.f. was founded in 1963 under the leadership of Silvio Tedeschi, and legally converted in S.p.A. in 1974, form that is still in effect today. Taking advantage of the technology and the know-how of the associated firm F.I.L.M.S., working in the field of sinters, Celsia becomes one of the few firms on the worldwide market capable of producing every kind of electrical contacts in different dimensions for remote control switches.

At the end of the 60's, further adjusting the sintering technology, Celsia began to produce composite materials, made by infiltration (silver/tungsten, copper/tungsten), used both in the electrical field and electromechanic one, completely home manufacturing the electrical contacts for medium and high voltage, growing into a qualified supplier of national and international firms.

The experience acquired during the years together with the untiring research and the higher and higher production capacity has allowed Celsia to develop a large range of sintered materials which find the best expression in the electroerosion and welding through discharge fields.

In 1994, Celsia has started the production of silver base brazing alloys, thanks to the great experience obtained in the brazing field of electrical contacts.
