These are our most recent alloys.
They are used in order to avoid the risks linked to the use of cadmium during brazing. Its fumes could result very dangerous for the worker in absence of exhauster or masks, and for all the application fields in which the use of cadmium is explicitly forbidden (for example application in the food industry).
They are applied in many brazing fields.
Cadmium enhances the slipping of the alloy in the welding joint. Anyway we recommend if possible the use of alloys without cadmium or to take precautionary measures during the brazing process.
Fluxes for braze welding are used to avoid joint oxidation and to protect them during the heating process. It's very important to adapt the features of the fluxes with the ones of the brazing alloy according to its welding temperature, because otherwise an oxidazion will occur and hinder the joint welding.
